Kick off is imminent here at the Camp Nou and here’s Matthew Poole to be your guide through what promises to be a heck of a football match.
The team sheets have been released and both teams are fielding full strength sides.
Both teams come into this game in fine form: Barca won 0-8 last week against Almeria whilst Madrid coasted to a 5-1 victory at home to Athletic Bilbao.
You couldn’t script it; this truly is a game of rivals. This isn’t just Barcelona vs Real Madrid, it’s Pep Guardiola vs Jose Mourinho, and it’s Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo.
20 minutes to kick-off and the Camp Nou is absolutely rocking. The Catalonian colours have engulfed the Camp Nou, and a TIFO reading ‘testimo Barca’ emerges in the stands, meaning ‘I love you Barca’.
The Anthem of Barcelona rings out with minutes to go till Kick-off.

2 Minutes added time.
Half time: Barcelona 2-0 Real Madrid
Absolute domination from Barcelona, Peps men have been mesmerizing on the ball and you can tell that Madrid are very frustrated. Jose Mourinho needs to make serious changes at half time to get Los Blancos back into this game, they cannot let Barca continue the way are, otherwise we could have a cricket score.
Real Madrid make a substitution, replacing Mesut Ozil with Lassana Diarra (Lass).

61’ Last time Barcelona scored 4 against Madrid at the Camp Nou was in the 1993/94 season.
64’ Arbeloa has just taken his wedding ring off and left it on the touchline… Brave.
65’ Busquets takes a shot from the half-way line and it just goes over Casillas.
66’ Real Madrid seem to have given up. Tactical masterclass from Guardiola? Or just a very bad day at the office for Madrid.
68’ Barcelona are showing just how good they are, passing it around, keeping position and even showboating to some degree.
71’ Carvalho has been given a yellow card for a handball, and yet it should really be a red for denying a goal scoring opportunity and a deliberate handball.
72’ David Villa has just been wiped out by Sergio Ramos, he’s been rightfully booked. What on earth was going on in his head when he went in for that challenge?
75’ Khedira just clattered into Iniesta and has received a booking for it. The towering German even has a blood stained shirt. Passion or idiocy?
76’ David Villa comes off for youngster Bojan. What a game he has had today.
79’ Barcelona fans giving Ronaldo some stick at the corner flag. You can understand why.
80’ Puyol booked now for a dangerous foul on Benzema, the ref’ won’t have any room left in his book by the end of this match.
9 of the 11 players on the pitch for Barca today have come from their academy.

Full time: Barcelona 5-0 Real Madrid
An absolute rout in Barcelona tonight. A previously unbeaten Real Madrid side have just crumbled against arguably the best team in Europe. Is this the beginning of a slide down the table for Madrid? I think what’s most impressive is how much this shows not only how influential Messi is to that Barcelona team, but just how easily that Barcelona side can dismantle even the toughest of opposition.
Thanks for reading, I’m off to warm up as it’s freezing here tonight.

“How we play Football”
Real Madrid were victim to a 5-0 hammering against Barcelona the other night. The Catalonian giants dismantled Los Blancos with ease despite Madrid coming into the game unbeaten. Two goals from David Villa and a 90 minute master class from Lionel Messi put Madrid in their place, leaving them with their tail between their legs. Madrid boss Jose Mourinho even claimed that the result was ‘historically bad’, clearly showing his disappointment in his team’s performance.
